I have had my cordless shark for about 1 year. It worked well for about 6 months, then died a slow death over another 6 months. I even took care of the battery, discharging it all of the way, not overcharging it. Seems like many other people have had a similar experiences. What a waste of natural resources to make a product like this that ends up in the garbage only a year later. And it isn't as if you can decide to use it with the cord still attached. When it dies, it dies, cord or no cord. And mine died too young. :(

Great Little Vacuum, July 26, 2011 By This review is from: EuroPro SV75 Shark Cordless Hand Vacuum - As Seen On TV I have had this vacuum for about a year now with no problems with the battery, as the other reviewers have had. It is very strong and the brush attachment still turns even when it's a hard job. I love it for pet hair. I actually even vacuum my dog with it to keep the pet hair down and she seems to like it. I like that it has a plug rather than a hanging charger, since the last vacuum I had was problematic because it wouldn't slide exactly into the charging dock.

I charged the vacuum according to the instructions, but it never held a charge. The customer service representatives charged me $20 for a new charger, half the price of the vacuum itself, for an item I had never used. I will never recommend anything from the Shark brand to anyone.
